Simple watercolour lantern tutorial. 1. Paint watercolour scenes onto a heavy, A3+ sized watercolour paper. 2. When dry, rub vegetable oil into both sides of the paper until absorbed. Leave overnight to dry 3. Cut windows into the scene, and glue coloured kite/tissue paper over the windows for teh light to shine through. You can also glue on cutout silhouettes. Reverse side if painting showing kite paper windows.
